15 Conservatory Ballet students took the satge at Wolf Trap’s Theater in the Woods at 3:00pm on Sunday September 20 as part of the 39th annual International Children’s Festival – the premier international arts education experience in the U.S..
The 15 Conservatory performers range in ages from 12 to 16 and come from across the Fairfax and Loudoun counties.

Wisdom, knowledge and courage are learned from experience Megan Kampa,
Kristina Liu, Alexandra Overholt and Kelsey Weber have graduated!
Megan Kampa, Kristina Liu and Alexandra Ovelholt have been with the Conservatory Ballet for fifteen years. Kelsey Weber has been at the Conservatory for twelve years. They came to the Conservatory Ballet together to learn, to grow, and to share and with the passing of time they have acquired knowledge, understanding and friendship. With the help of many, they are prepared to meet tomorrow’s challenges.
As their final year comes to an end, we pause to reflect upon the many memories which have brought us tears and joy.
Time and space may separate us but wherever their pathways take them they’ll always be the Class of 2009 from Conservatory Ballet.

The Conservatory Ballet’s Petit Jardin in the premiere early childhood program in the area for children ages 18 months to 4 years. Through Workshops such as Fairy Princess Ballet Stories; Twelve Dancing Princesses; Carnival of the Animals and classes such as; Baby Ballet, Pixie Ballet; Princess Ballet and Fairy Ballet, students test their limits and hone leadership skills that will last a lifetime. Friendships are formed between students, and teachers, and parents. Everyone is welcome to join!

On Saturday, June 6, 2009 the Conservatory will present its annual Demi Gala spring performance at the Madeira School theater in McLean, Va.
Tickets for the 1pm and 6pm performances are available at:

Tickets are $16 for child & $21 for adult in advance; $2.00 more ate the door.

Due to end of year curriculum level performances, classes for Saturday, June 6 have been canceled.
The Curriculum Ballet Classes end on Saturday June 13th.
The Seasonal Classes end Sunday, June 21st.
Summer Class session starts June 22nd and ends August 23rd.

In observance of Memorial Day, the Conservatory Ballet will be closed from Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 25.
Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 26.
