Conservatory Ballet Alumni


Jared Redick,
danced with San Francisco Ballet, Texas Ballet Theater, Miami City Ballet and The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, before joining Boston Ballet where he danced for seven years as a soloist. Following his retirement in 2009, Mr. Redick continued his work with Boston Ballet as Principal of Boston Ballet Schools South Shore studio in Norwell, MA. In January 2011, he was appointed Artistic Director of New Haven Ballet. In 2012, he was appointed Associate Fellow of Pierson College Yale University. He was also the recipient of the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts award for exceptional artistic achievement. Mr. Redick joined University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2013 as Assistant Dean of Ballet.

Keenan Kampa,
was invited to attend the prestegious Vagonova Choreographic Institute in St. Petersburg, Russia, during her Senior year at Conservatory. There, she went on to be the first American to graduate with the full Russian diploma in 2010. After dancing for two years as a full member of the Boston Ballet, she went on to make history again, by becoming the first American ever to dance in the Mariinsky Ballet. Keenan is also the face and spokesperson for AW13 International Campaign G Star Raw, AG Jeans contour 360 campaign as well as a featured model in the Ballerina project. Keenan will be making her film debut this summer in the feature film - High Strung.

Lexie Overholt,
after graduating from CB, went on to the Miami City Ballet School. There, she was selected to join the Miami City Ballet as a company apprentice in 2011. She was promoted to full member of the Corps de Ballet in 2012 where she has been featured in numerous campaigns as well as photoshoots.

Rebecca Mattern,
is currently studying at the Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet in NYC. She is set to perform in the Gelsey Kirkland Ballets 2015 - The Nutcracker.

Kristi Liu,
graduated from Butler University with a B.A. in Fine Arts. She then joined the Festival Ballet Providence as a Trainee and Corps the Ballet member. Kristi was invited to appear as the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Fisher Academy of Ballet and Dance on December 15, 2013.

Catherine Liu,
has earned a BFA in Dance Performance & Choreography with a minor in violin from Elon University. She has performed in the Movement Choir of Garrett & Moulton Production s at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and will start dancing with Mid to West Dance Collective and Oakland-based choreographer Leyya Tawil in 2015.

Holly Colbert,
graduated from Radford University with a B.F.A. in Dance with a concentration in Classical Ballet. While a student at the Conservatory, she auditioned, was selected, and attended the School of American Ballet, Princeton Ballet, Southern Ballet Theatre (Orlando Ballet), and Ballet Internationale's summer intensives. She currently works for a not-for-profit in Washington, DC that represents U.S. and Canadian medical schools and teaching hospitals.
